Commander urges Iran to remain strong to futile US destabilizing efforts

Tehran, IRNA – Commander of IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh said on Friday that if we fail to remain strong, the US-led wars in the region will be dragged to Iran.

Speaking in a televised speech, Hajizadeh referred to the wars created in the region by the US and said that Washington seeks its interests in destabilizing West Asia and the whole world.

“From the outset, we in the Aerospace Force sought to disable the capabilities and the American war machine,” the commander said, adding that “the Americans had a number of superior powers that we have either dealt a blow or disabled them.”

Noting that the American bases in the region used to be a source of power for them, Hajizadeh said that “we can hit them whenever we want, so they have become a point of weakness for them.”

Referring to the invasive effort of the US Navy, the commander said that earlier when one said that this fleet was moving towards a country, the ruler of that country would fall.

The Iranian general however said that Iran is now capable of targeting the US warships up to 2,000 km away.

Noting that this 2,000 km cap is also being observed “for the respect of the Europeans”, he called on the European states to keep their respect.
